Are trace amounts of soy ok?

  • This morning I have spent time researching which fish oil I should take. I am looking for something other than the Dailyburn Essentials for financial reasons. According to Dr. Oz, I need a fish oil capsule that is at least 600mg DHA. I've been finding a lot of options but every time I look at the ingredients I've been surprised to find soy listed among them. I finally found some fish oil capsules that are "ignite approved". However, at the bottom of the bottle it says that it might contain "trace" amounts of soy or derivatives. Is this ok?

Soy derivatives are ok. These are basically emulsifiers. They are present in such small levels that is won't affect your Ignite program. On Ignite, DailyBurn just doesn't want you to consume tofu, edamame, soy protein powder, etc.
