Corn is not a veggie, it's a grain. And it has a lot of sugar and no nutritional benefits. You can eat corn on the cob every once in a blue moon but corn should not be a staple.

Yes corn is a gluten but it isnt a harmful gluten as it doesnt effect the intestines the same was as other glutens. So as long as you dont have a corn intolerance which some people do you should be fine.

Gluten is actually a protein found in grassy grains like wheat. Corn does not contain gluten. You are free to eat corn, but remember that it is higher in sugar than many vegetables. Just make sure to limit your servings to one at a time, and you'll be fine.
