Can you substitute kale for broccoli in a recipe? Garam Masala beef and broccoli

    Sounds good to me. Kale is rich in calcium like broccoli, but without the gas!

    It depends on how the kale/broccoli is being cooked in the recipe. Kale wouldn't need as much cooking time as broccoli. Kale will release water when it is cooked. And Kale is a more bitter green so it might alter the flavor of the dish.
