Do you have to post your food to do the ignite program?

  • Can I just keep track of my food on my own? I think this program is great but the web site is very confusing

Ignite is simply a process of dietary elimination with nicely laid out guidelines. You don't have to track your food during the ignite stage to be successful, but the resource is available. Much literature exists to support the idea that tracking diet leads to successful weight loss and improved diets.

Tracking during the ignite phase only requires uploading pictures of meals and snacks - no counting other than that.

After 21 days, you move to the balance stage. Here you have an allotment of 15 credits per week. You subtract 1 credit for every serving of an 'evil 6.' It's my take that tracking during this stage is crucial because tracking is what keeps you in check during this time.

    Good luck!

I realize my response was lengthy and incomplete. I meant to express the opinion that you should track any way you are comfortable - web site or not.
