For all my fellow coffee drinkers out there , what do you do about milk in your morning coffee?
It definitely takes some getting used to, almond milk and soy milk are better alternatives in my opinion. Vanilla Almond Breeze is my "milk" of choice. If there's a health food store in your area they have flavored soy/coconut creamers as well. Nice and thick, less of a sacrifice :-) Also, try making your coffee stronger so you need less and its less watery all together, I find this really helps with flavor and consistency.
Have you ever considered goats milk? Its much easier on the digestive system and has a unique taste that I can't get enough of after making the switch!
Good luck :-)
Don't get so caught up in follow a meal plan verbatim. They are set there as guidelines to give you a track in which to follow. Fat Free Milk is a great additive to your coffee. Try mixing 2 cups coffee, 1/2 cup FF Milk and 2 scoops chocolate Whey into a shaker, mix, and enjoy!
I know you're doing Ignite, so you've probably already dropped milk, but as a flavored latte drinker a few years ago I slowly weaned myself off all milk and sugar in my coffee and have never looked back. It only took about a week, if you were willing to do that before starting Ignite. Black coffee is supposed to help your metabolism, too... Just my two cents, but you really do get a lot more from the flavor of coffee when you don't add anything to it, so it's only a problem when I visit somewhere and have to drink swill.
