Gained weight today :(
A few things you're going to have to know so this won't drive you crazy ...... Try if you can to step away from the scale especially if this is the first time you are starting out on a fitness regimain
You're weight loss is going to have fits and starts so it you are checking it every few days you're bound to be dissappointed at times
The other thing is if you are just a few weeks in .... a lot of the initial weight that you lost would be some water .... as you go on that water will come back That's why many people see a plateau or an actual weight gain at about the two to three week mark
So my advice is to use the scale very infrequently and instead use a mirror and a tape measure .... you'll be A LOT happier with your results
Not to get too personal, but if you are female, it might be related to your cycle. I also gain a pound or two of water weight the week before, and the week after, it and a little extra is gone. Keep up the great work and no scales for the week!
Actually, you really have LOST weight. The increase you saw is really from muscle mass. When I first joined the military, I was already slim but I gained about 10 pounds in muscle mass. You will loose fat but gain muscle. Its normal.
