Help, Energy Drink Substitution??

  • Hi. I'm 23, and am/was an energy drink addict. My job requires me to be on my feet 8-12 a day, and they helped to keep me going (I don't like coffee, so that was by caffeine imput). I have cut soda and sadly (to me) energy drinks out of my diet. But I'm really craving the caffeine. Does anyone have any recommendations on substitutions?

Have you tried tea? Green tea really helps me, I use less sugar than coffee and it helps curb my appetite so I'm not munching when I'm bored on the job.

i do like green tea. However it seems a little difficult to find a commercial brand that doesn't have HFCS in it. I Love drinking Arizona Iced Teas but they are loaded with the stuff so I had to cut them out.

    Hello Irishmeals,

Have you tried Spark? Lots of flavors and sugar free. Much better option than energy drinks on the market. Hope that helps...

I used Wyler's individual drink packets. I don't believe they are allowed on ignite because they have artificial coloring though. I find them easy to carry in my purse and use when I am not at home. I can just ask for water and they mix right in. They are sugar free and are sold at Meijer's and several dollar stores. Hope this helps.
