How accurate is the number of calories burned that pops up at the end of a workout?
I do not have a HR monitor, but I am doing a calories in/calories out plan so need to know how accurate the count is. I am 22, 5'5" and weigh 128 lbs. I definitely feel like my heart rate is speeding up and am out of breath in the Cardio Sculpt videos.by: tauricox
I feel like the calorie count isn't quite right. I'm 5'2 and 113 pounds. The number on the video tells me that I burn up to 500 calories doing 30 minutes of Inferno. But I'd burn the same amount from running 5 miles in 50 minutes. Since 30 minutes of Inferno includes 5-10 minutes of breaks, I can't see how I'd blast through 500 calories in 20 minutes of jumping around. Hope that helps?
