I am not but my mother is because of menopause and she has gained 15lbs and cant get rid of the weight no matter what she tries. It may be the nature of the hormone replacements or it could be the person, im not certain either way.

I'm not a woman, but I have thyroid disease, and am on thyroid replacements. I've lost 54 lbs. The weight comes off slower but it's not impossible to lose.

I am not on hormone replacement, but it is harder for me to lose weight. I really have to cut the calories, so I starve. I am not not worrying on cutting them so much, I am not going to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks like I could when I was younger. Then all I had to do was cut junk food. So I am concentrating on losing slowly by eating healthier. It is not impossible, you can't give up. Just keep moving and fueling your body with healthy foods and it shoudl work.
