I usually am a very relaxed person, lately though I have found myself have bad anxiety. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help elim
I hope this doesn't sound vague, but I've found that getting outside of myself is usually key when I'm going through something like that. Whether it's meditation, being of service to others, or just talking to a friend about it, the more I'm not focused on my thoughts/myself, the easier it is to get out of it. The book Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach, Ph.D., has been very helpful to me. It helps w/ meditation, but more importantly, helped me see that my fears are generally kind of absurd and the reality of the situation is usually much more likely to be something that I can handle. Helps me get rid of the ambient anxiety.
