Just wondering if there are any other vegans in this community? It would be nice to connect with others who share this lifestyle.
I've been vegan for about a year and a half. At first I lost about 12lbs. I was very excited. Back then I didn't know what to eat so I stuck to veggies and fruit, beans, nuts, and grains. Then I started getting into the "fake" meats and cheeses. I've gain it back. I love this site. Back to basics. Just wondering if any one else on here shares this lifestyle as it's becoming popular.story1029 by:
Hi, I've been a vegan for 2 1/2 years, and just joined this site. I'm kind of unimpressed with the nutrition planning part of it so far as they don't have a vegan option (did I just miss it?), but I'm looking forward to giving the workout videos a shot. I've lost about 30 pounds (with about 30 more to go) since becoming vegan, although I find that there is so much vegan high calorie junk food available these days it's hard to stay disciplined.
Hi, I'm a vegan. I was all Paleo, 106 lbs and stupidly fit... then I felt compelled to go vegan and gained 30 pounds : ( I'm horrified. I have tried so many extreme diets and fitness programs and nothing is working. I went all raw but my body simply can't sustain it with intense daily workouts. Plus eating cold fruits and veggies for every single meal was really unnerving. I was hoping to find a solution here when I saw "customized meal plans" but it looks like ignite is cookie cutter low-carb, GF, etc...? I may unjoin if that's the case! After watching so many documentaries on factory farming and slaughterhouses I simply won't go back to Paleo, despite my new weight struggles. There HAS to be a way to have both!!!!
