Popcorn

You can totally have popcorn as long as you don't use butter or soybean oil. Popping it in coconut oil and adding spices would be a divine snack! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Coconut oil has a low melting point, so it might have a low smoke point (I'm not totally sure). Just don't burn your house down!

I made some last night with olive oil and lightly salted. It didn't taste weird but was tricky to pop every thing in the olive oil without it smoking. Thanks for the response, I wanted to make sure I didn't have to Reignite after just my first day on Ignite
Air poppers solve the oil issue.
A way to also pop without having to worry about oil is to place a little bit in a small brown paper bag, fold over the top of the bag a couple times, and then place in the microwave. It pops just like bagged popcorn only much healthier! Just be careful to listen for when it stops popping because it can burn easily.
Coconut oil definitely has a low smoke point thats why it isnt used for deep frying or high temp frying.Air popper route definitely solves the issue all together but if you dont mind a bit of smoke the coconut oil does the job.
