When you follow a nutrition plan, which is more important to you?
Which is more important to you: flexibility to sub in some of your own recipes, budget shopping guides and tools, a strict plan down to the measurements, special diets like gluten-free and dairy-free etc? You can answer any or all that apply.by: KateHough
For me the best nutritional plan is one that simply provides guidelines. For example give me daily limits on fat, protein, carbs, water, sugar and all that but let me choose how to prepare it. Tell me I can have between 50-65 grams of fat but don't tell me how to eat it. I love cooking and creating recipes and most nutrition plans don't allow for creativity in the kitchen. Also living in Mexico a lot of ingredients that are recomended on here, daily burn tracker or other sites are impossible for me to find so I need flexibility.
for beginning i always need a strict plan, but with time i want to try out new recipes and create some on my own
I like a meal plan that offers recommendations to get me started but also the flexibility for me to change those recommendations. I'd like to see how my meal that I ate stacked up with the meal that was initially recommended.
