Why is there cane juice in the protein powder?

  For a week I've done a great job keeping sugar out of my diet, only to finally get the protein powders and find there's cane juice in it.

  The easy answer? Because if there wasnt some sort of sugar in protein powder, a lot less people would drink it.

  I saw that same thing on the ingredients. I ordered it anyway thinking the Ignite people know what their doing. Right?

    Me too. I'm liking it, just annoyed that it's "cheating" once a day.

  I was wondering the same thing, and that's why I didn't order it!! I get my (vegan) protein powders with zero sweeteners added (natural or artificial), and can choose to sweeten with fruit, stevia, or not at all :)

  I was so completely disappointed when I opened the box just now. I wrongly assumed that if DB recommended this 1000 times to help the ignite phase which forbids sugar it wouldn't have sugar! Super frustrated. I was so excited to start the cleanse - now have to return their bad product and find a new one.

    It's actually not so bad, I haven't had an increase in cravings, and have steadily been losing weight and keeping it off, even when I've slipped and needed to restart.
