    3.5 miles Run/Jog/walk

I have begun a daily 3.5 mile run that turns into a jog and then by the end turns into a walk. It is feeling really good, and where I live now it is convenient to just head out of the house and go for a run. I am working to increase my speed and decrease the amount of walking needed. I would like to be able to complete the 3.5 miles in 35-40 minutes. I have some work to do to get there, but I am making progress. Since I began this new routine I haven't seen any weight loss, but I am noticing some thinning which is a great thing!

My pushup and situp plans have been building a good amount of muscle. But I will be adding in a couple of lifting days back in at the gym soon as well. (I am also in the process of moving from one house to another at the moment so getting to the gym and then back home at the moment just takes up too much time.)

Liking food is one thing, savouring it is something else entirely. Dish out your portions in advance, and savour what you have. Plus, remember to log it! Cardio does burn the most amount of calories, but remember to do some weight lifting as well. Being lighter is all good and well, but it's the tone that makes one look best. :) (plus, I hear that muscle burns more calories while sedentary)

Thanks for the encouragement! I am hoping this recent drop stays off. I keep hovering around the 200lb mark. My workout plan basically looks like this: Mostly cardio. I had been using the Elliptical at the gym, and now I am jogging around the neighborhood. 1.5 mile jog followed by a 2 mile walk to get myself back to the front door of my house on my 'loop'. It takes about 40-50 minutes depending on how well the first 1.5 miles goes. I am also doing situps and pushups every other day. I need to focus more on my eating, but I keep failing on that front. I just like food way to much.
