    Tracking

I allow myself to stop tracking when I am within my goal weight. I might do better if I adjusted that to only tracking on the weekends when I am at my goal weight. Seems that might work better for long term maintenance.

    P90X and protein powder

I am now on my second month of P90X. I love it. We work out in the morning though so I thought I would try a protein powder to help give me nutrients but not overload my stomach before the work out. We will see how today goes. It will be a good test since we are doing plyometrics today. All that jumping will either be really bad or really good after whey protein!

    I am back again.

I stopped tracking for a while to see if I could maintain my weight loss without being so calorie focused. I just tried to eat right and keep exercising. For the most part I have done well. I am a pound or two heavier than my lowest weight but still with in my goal weight. I want to get back to focusing on being healthy. I do not feel this means tracking everything I eat. But spending time here reading posts and tracking things occasionally will help keep me better focused!

    Working out

I finally accepted my friend's offer to come and workout with her in her home gym. I am so sore! We really pushed ourselves this week. It has been nice to have someone to talk to while I work out. Plus I tend to push myself harder then when I am alone because I don't want to look like a slacker!

About Me

In Jan of 2009 I reached my weight loss goal by loosing 130 pounds. I did it using Weight Watcher's Core program. I feel like a whole new person. I used to say that I lost myself but someone told me that in reality I found the person that had been hiding under all that weight. My new goals are to build muscles in an attempt to deal with loose skin. I try to eat clean. Whole grains and food from the earth is what I try to focus on.
