About Me
I am an avid outdoors person, who enjoys bowhunting, flyfishing, kayak fishing, and sports. I play hockey every week, and participate in an adult recreational league in the winter. I love to read, and primarily read science fiction and fantasy novels, though I occasionally throw in heavier fare. I work as a solutions consultant for a huge software company, I love computers, and I am more or less addicted to Call of Duty 2, 4, and 5. I used to be a competitive (sort of) cat 4 road cycling racer. I was a college (division III) football player, I was in the military from 1994-1998 (stationed at Fort Carson, CO). I am happily married to an awesome woman. She is an ACE certified fitness pro who teaches spin, kickbox, BodyPump, BodyAttack, pilates, and step. In addition to all of that, she has competed in numerous bodybuilding shows. I started taking most of her classes as part of my lifestyle change - and everyday I am amazed by her energy and passion.

Like that with the bread making and all
I would be baking bread if I hadn't quit eating bread, or at least bread with gluten. And my gut has been just great after wards. No gas, no gastric sounds, no nothing nothing. I quit dairy products at the same time, so perhaps that played more of a role. Who knows. Any ways, like that you make your own bread. :)

Errrr
Went out to eat last night...dang. Had a banner day for caloric intake. Can you believe people eat like that every day? I can...because I used to do it too. Once in awhile is okay I guess. I still feel a little guilty for what I did to my body last night.

Making Bread
I have spent the day making homemade whole wheat bread (and yes, I milled the grain myself, and made my own flour), so excuse me if my nutrition log has a lot of bread in it. I had to test stuff, ya know? :) Anyway, I finally came out with a great loaf, and now I know how to about this. I made 5 loaves of bread today. No more store bought bread for me!

Congratulations with the sub200
Was checking your nutrition diary and noticed that you had a fun some fun on Friday if I remember it right. Not that it matters because your diet seems otherwise to be pretty solid. I was thinking I should try to eat more berries when I was checking it out. I guess I will put it on my 'things to fix' list. Now that I have started to log my food (as an experiment... not sure for how long) I have not surprisingly perhaps become very curious about everyone's else's diaries. :D You know what you are doing, and just a matter for you to actually do what you know you should. No question in my mind that you will reach all your goals if you really want to. ;)
