Martial arts
Concerning your question about Jiu-Jitsu, I like it very much. I enjoy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a bit more than Japanese. I’ve been practicing TKD on and off for several years now. I spent two years in South Korea where I received great training and learned a lot about its spiritual meaning and how important it is within the Korean culture. I really enjoyed it but unfortunately it’s not so good for self defense. That’s why I took up Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. BJJ teaches a lot of ground defense, escapes, and of course submissions, which is exactly what I was looking for. As a girl I need to learn how to defend myself once on the ground cause that is probably where I’m going to end up if attacked on the street. I think BJJ is so technical and there is so much to learn. Unfortunately, BJJ & Japanese JJ doesn’t avoid going to the ground much unlike the Karv Maga you study. So, I have study some wrestling and I took on Judo, which I think is super fun. It teaches you balance, throws, throws defense and counter attacks. I just need to get stronger. I dislocated my ribs earlier this year during Judo. Also if you don’t execute the technique correctly you can really hurt yourself. I trained at Capitao BJJ & MMA here in the Florida Panhandle. Even thought I was the only girl in the academy, I did enjoy it. I like to train with men and people that are better than me; makes me work harder. In a week I’m leaving to Japan for a few years. I have already found a Judo academy. I’m so excited. Karv Maga Q? is there technique? I mean, the shows I’ve seen on TV make it sound like brawling; or using whatever is around you to strike with kinda technique.

Back in Action
After the bouts of wisdom tooth enabled sickness, I'm back to steady training for my upcoming trip to Israel. Looking forward to beefing up the cardio so I don't get destroyed.
