buyog's Journal
Down East this week
I'm at my mother-in-law's house in Sea Level, North Carolina. No weight room here, and I didn't bring my bike... that means powerwalking is the only game in town. She lives on a loop road that, mapmyrun.com tells me, is 2.21 miles around. So, that's what I'll be doing this morning. I'll log my time when I finish.

Aaannnnd I back down to 213. Weird.
I guess I'm just going to have to weigh myself less frequently and not freak out as much about it. Or something.

Alarming
218 yesterday, 220 today... aaarrrrrrrggghhhh! So in the past week, I've done something to completely undermine the past 3 months of work... and I HAVE NO IDEA what it is! I'm not sleeping well, sure, but that's nothing new. And sure, I have a king-size bag of M&M's in my desk drawer, but I only do a couple of handfuls, spread throughout the day. Would that make such a difference? O_o

CRAP!!!!!
I'm used to my weight bobbing around a pound or two from day to day, but since I started my lunchtime workouts, it's been trending downward. This week has seen an alarming uptick... from 211 last Friday to 215 on Monday, and 218 today! Either someone's messing with the scale in the weight room, or I need to lay off the peanut M&M's. (Yeah, I know, it's probably the latter)

212! W00t!
Just hit 212 lbs for the first time since starting my workout regimen a few months ago. Slow but steady wins the race, right?
