izamryan's Journal
After one week of fasting ...
and switching up to my new regime, I feel like I've lost weight. The down side is I'm not sure if all the weight lost is from fat mass because my tracking spreadsheet shows a drop in muscle mass. Maybe I need to double my protein shake intake during fasting month?

End of the Second day of Fasting
OK - switched over to my new regime, and have been following it for 2 days so far. The drop in calorific intake and focus on low intensity steady state cardio = seems to have good results. Next calendar week I start my circuit training, but my triceps are still aching from my workout on Friday. Hopefully I recover fully by Tuesday. Feeling good about my regime - bring it on!

End of Week 6
My quads and my thighs are aching - good workout! Packed on an extra 15 mins on the cross trainer - went a whole 45 mins. I must remember to input my circuit training schedule for next next week.

End of Week 5
I really need to improve my cycle management. I tend to eat a lot when my metabolism is up - which isn't too bad when I lift a lot. I think for Week 6 I'm going to: Monday - Swim Tuesday - HIIT Wednesday - Lift Thursday - HIIT Friday - Lift Saturday - HIIT & Lift Sunday - Swim

Beginning of Week 5
Week 4 had to be postponed a week due to a short bout of asthma - but I'm back up and running again. Looking forward to the next 6 days of gruelling Week 5. This week I'll be running high intensity intervals for 10 minutes. And on the elliptical trainer I'm working on a 6-minutes interval, short rest, repeat until 30 minutes. Last week I pulled a new personal best on the elliptical trainer - 11.92km in 30 mins.
