Martial Arts
I've been training recently in a few martial arts... Krav Maga (for about 2 months), MMA (Mixed Martial Arts for about 3 weeks), and Karate (my third class is tonight). I find it a lot more motivating to be in a program with other people because there is competition and someone to call you out when you're not giving it your all or being at the top of your game. :) So if you see me put down boxing as an activity, it's actually one of those or a combination of them. I also am taking a Meltdown class to help melt off the fat and tone my body.

Changing my use of this site.
When I was initially losing weight, I used this site to track nutrition daily and of course keep track of my weight. I wasn't really working out much so I seldomly used the workout tracker. Now that I am training for the military, my needs have shifted. I no longer am counting calories as I feel confident in myself not to over eat; I am now using this site to track my workouts and still keep track of my weight fluctuation. I don't feel the need to track my calories any longer and now that I am working out, I find that I no longer am having cravings and don't feel I need to track my intake. I do enjoy seeing the little hearts and weights on my calendar to remind me of my dedication to becoming more athletic and meeting my requirements for military training. :)

Air Force
Last Thursday, I attended MEPS and was the only female to pass the entry physical for the United States Armed Forces. I am a member of the Delayed Entry Program; therefore, I am qualified and waiting for a position and a date for Basic Military Training. Losing weight has opened up so many opportunities for me and I am so much happier with my self and have a better outlook on my life. :)
