    Thanks

Kate, thanks for the kind words of encouragement. I used to competitively row and was pretty intense with bodybuilding 'back in the day' ... it feels great to get back into the sport, really not sure why it took me so long. Having to be accountable to a personal trainer truly makes all the difference - into my third week and feeling confident that this will be a long term lifestyle transition, time will tell. Thanks again, much appreciated.

    Hi Kate,

I've noticed uv bn quite active on DB i guess you're the ideal person to ask about this as youre also into the 'endurance thang'. I DO endurance everything. Its like my love and passion. I dont quite fit into the marathon catagory yet [due to physical strength] but definately on the cards. BUT basically, ill run 40-50km a week, swim 15 and cycle up to 5-7 hours depending on where i am in the triathlon season. as well as heading for a double century cyce in november im getting ready for half ironman. I run a 20 km under 2 hours.... you get the picture right? Ok, heres the problem. I cant eat all the food to regain the extra 1000-2000 cal that i burn [case its impossible and bloody expensive]. Im already on 2-3 protein shakes a day on the weekends. sometimes double servings. when i started with daily burn i weighed 73.3kg. i went to see a nutritionist and she got me onto the whole protein shake thingy.... [there was quite a period i didnt enter my daily particulars on DB] and now i weigh 76.5kg!?!?! I'm 1.79m tall so its not FAT BUT its the closest iv gotten to te heaviest iv ever been! I have no idea what to do! do i eat less? do i eat more? do i have my THYROID checked out!? im losing faith and getting pertty upset cos the sport i love is making me fat. please advise or give me some idea of what you think it might be? regards nix
