This topic has been briefed before a couple times and what I gather is that the workout has a general difficulty/calorie burn, combined with your personal information from the Dailyburn Questionnaire, the calorie counter provides an estimated calorie burn for that workout. Of course it doesn't know if you skip a rep or hold a plank for an extra 30 seconds. So it is just a general calorie burn estimate for that workout. Also, t is a good idea to update your profile and questionnaire about once a month or so.
I had the same problem when I started Pilates. My neck wasn't very strong and strained during most movement and my instructor said this is normal. I saw quick improvement with regular Pilates practice and now I don't notice any neck strain. Just stick to it!
I would think some stretching and toning exercises to make those muscles longer would help such as Yoga and Pilates. These are strength and stretching based to make muscles long and lean.
Pilates has a lot of core based exercises. Try including it once or twice in your weekly workout schedule.
I have one and it is a good aditional motivator. I end up charging mine every night becuase it just can't seem to make two full days expecially if you are more active.
I would like to see a history of all the points I've earned from workouts and nutrition, tec.
Personally, I think working out again helps with the soreness. It warms those mussles back up and takes some of the pain away. Of course I wouldn't go too hard but just enough push to make it through the pain.
That was fast! Keep up the good work!
I agree! Cool addition
A couple trainers have said during their workout that strong, healthy hips support your back. They also mention that this is important for people with desk jobs and I was just wondering what the relation is. What is the full circle between hips and back?
My current lunch favorite are frozen burritos. Threre is a line from Evol Foods that are delicious and another brand I like is Annies. My grocery store keeps these in the organic frozen foods section. You just throw them in the microwave and lunch is done!
Oh I'm sorry. You won't find them there becasue they have never linked the two. It makes sense that they would and I think they are working on it to become avaialable sometime in the future. People have asked this same question in the past.
