I use the videos occasionally in addition to my usual workout.
I don't have a question, but i must tell you I love them! You're so fun and friendly.
I'm following you now -- love the idea of cucumber cups instead of bread to save those gluten points.
Great idea! I'm not doing that, but I'd sure follow yours.
Thanks -- solves the problem!
I love the Balance tracking app -- it's the easiest way to track Balance points and I feel that it really helps me stay on target. However, I can't bring myself to pull out my phone and snap in a restaurant. Then spend all week trying to remember and mentally deduct points for what I had during that client lunch. I realize I could just choose a salad every time, but I also know that I am not going to -- we have some nice restaurants in my town! Is there a way to deduct points later? Or are there brave souls who do this all the time who can tell me how people around you react -- like, is it humiliating or do they fail to notice?
No, they don't. You can take the Evil 6 literally -- they seem like a weird set to a lot of us, but they eliminate pretty much all processed foods and allow us to eat healthy carbs even during Ignite.
Answer this question (please read answers below before posting)...
I don't think it's the folks at Daily Burn saying that. I think it's other community members. Ignite focuses on added sugar and allows fruit.
How about nuts, popcorn, chicken, or fruit? ...Actually, I bet there'll be as much reigniting after the Super Bowl as after Valentine's Day.
I can really relate to that defiant moment. For me, too, it was a restaurant lunch with friends. I didn't want to have to feel sorry for myself or explain why I was eating a salad... I had lunch with friends yesterday, though, chose a salad with grilled chicken, and enjoyed the conversation. Nobody noticed or cared -- including me. So it does get easier.
It does get easier, though I don't think it would be a sustainable permanent change for me. I think that by the time I finish my four weeks of Ignite (interrupted by a restaurant meal), the Balance phase will be realistic for the long term. It wouldn't have been if I had started off with it.
