I'm still trying to get a clear answer to this question... I'm on day 7 of ignite and I seem to be getting about 50% of my calories from fat, granted they are all super healthy fats. I have met or come in low on all my calorie goals, but I thought my fat should be around 35%. when I try to reduce my fats down to a normal 35%, I can't seem to get enough protein or calories.
I am also using Daily Burn Tracker and I really like the ability to enter the foods I am eating and get out approximate calories, fat, carbs, and protein. It seems from that info, that I am having a hard time getting enough protein. It seems that instead of eating too much carbs, it is the fat that I'm eating too much of. How to do increase protein calories, without too much fat or carbs? Also, is it better to be heavy on the fats or heavy on the Carbs? i'm following Ignite pretty well, shake in morning, big salad with tuna for lunch, a couple a small snacks throughout the day (an apple or a handful of nuts), and dinner from the ignite friendly recipe page.
I use coconut milk. Not the watered down "beverage" version you buy in the refrigerated section, but the canned stuff you use to make curry. Just shake it up really good.
Have you figured this out yet?
Answer this question (please read answers below before posting)...
It is a recipe from the sites recipe list. i think it was paleo banana bars...how can i tell which recipes are ok on ignite and which are for balance? And, do the recipes tell you how many Balance points they will cost on balance? Still preparing and just want to make sure i understand it all before getting started. Also, what about stevia or ZERO?
