The Roku interface for DailyBurn has updated, and there seems to be multiple problems (at least on my 1st generation Roku). The pictures on the menu are extremely grainy, there are issues with the sound and video sync, and the video is very choppy when it first loads. Most troubling, the timer for each workout is about 6-8 seconds fast from the video (which has been surprisingly frustrating during a workout). Anyone else seeing the same thing? Perhaps it works better on a later version of the Roku? Perhaps just new interface growing pains?
Wrist braces do help. I also like using push up bars (such as the "Perfect PushUp"). Using these takes the bend out of your wrist and makes it much more comfortable.
I would suggest trying to not follow a program, but instead choosing the workout you need on any given day. Simply choose the "IntelliBurn" program, and then click "Discover Workouts" on days you don't enjoy what they are offering. If you find that going all out on Inferno or the TBT (with the most difficult modifications) is not hard enough, then you might be superhuman. :-)
For the tracking aspects, check out some of their other apps down at the bottom of the page, especially "Tracker". Might be just what you need. Of course, weight is easy to track using just the website.
I do wish they had a page where you could track your performance in challenges and workouts you had completed. That would be a nice edition. I would also enjoy more workout videos, but they do claim to be filming some at this moment for future additions.
The KB workouts are using one KB, with one exception in KB 6 (and that exercise had a modifier for a single KB).
My wife uses a 15 lb KB as a true beginner (we've gone through the program one time), but she is rather petite. Keep in mind that the KB part of the workout is only 20 minutes, so adjust your weight accordingly!
I'll throw in my vote for more hard core workouts like TBT and Inferno. Those keep me coming back for more! I would never complain about more kettlebell workouts either.
You guys have created some amazing workout videos so far. Keep up the good work!
