scvb13 answered the Question: How did everyone do on Ignite?

I'm on Day 15 and have lost 8 lbs! I feel amazingly better and am receiving compliments on how fit I look and how much better my skin looks. I still have at least 35 more lbs to go but this is a nice start and I have to see I plan on following the program pretty closely. It's just not worth it to go back to all the sugar and crap again!

I purchased an Ignite-friendly mayo at Whole Foods made with Safflower oil instead of soybean oil. It's pretty good! I just made a coleslaw dressing with it and Stevia and some Srichacha for added heat and it's awesome.

scvb13 answered the Question: Any tips for newcomers to the Ignite program?

Take some extra time every few days to plan out your meals, your go-to snacks, and your drinks. I found it easiest to find appropriate foods at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, a bit trickier at a regular store but still do-able. My go-to snacks were avocados, fruit, and Nut-Thins (crackers made from nuts instead of wheat). I only drank water, iced tea, almond milk (unsweetened) and coconut water for when I needed something more calorie-wise. I also kept packets of Stevia in my purse and work cooler to add to my coffee and tea. The first 3-4 days are the toughest then you get in a routine and feel better once the sugar is out of your system.

scvb13 answered the Question: What are good alternatives for lunges and squats?

I'm not supposed to be doing them either due to back problems, if you have a gym membership the leg press machine is a safer option.

For Ignite I pack the following (I work 12.5 hour shifts):
    1. Have my AM shake before leaving for work
    2. Morning snack: either a Larabar and coffee or GF Van's waffles with coconut oil and cinammon on top
    3. Lunch: Leftovers of some sort (rice, veggies, meat) or a big salad
    4. Afternoon snack: nuts with a small amount of dark chocolate and a coconut water
    5. Similar to lunch, an Ignite friendly meal, found some good frozen ones at Whole Foods that meet all the Ignite criteria.

Love my Nutribullet for single servings! Just got a Blendtech for bigger jobs and now make a huge smoothie for my hubby and I to split in the AM.

Unless you are having your body fat measured professionally I'd take the home bodyfat scale measurement with a grain of salt. Mine varies by as much as 7% depending on my fluid status. A better measurement is to literally measure your chest, arms, legs, neck, hips, and belly at the beginning and then every month of so after following the plan. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat so the scale really isn't always the best way to go.

I'm going through Crystal Light withdrawal so I feel ya. Try just slicing lemons with water and keep in a pitcher in your fridge.
