I think your breakfast sounds great. I eat Paleo, too, and my breakfasts look really similar. I can't have eggs, so I usually have a salad or sauteed veggies, some sort of fish (usually smoked or canned), and fruit.
I completely agree. The achievements really helped keep me going, even though they really didn't mean anything. Please bring them back.
The room I work out in has carpet, and I find it very hard to pivot in the boxing workouts when I have my tennis shoes on. I work out barefoot sometimes, but not often since I need the the support for my ankles and arches. Does anyone know what kind of shoes I could use that could give me support, but not grip on the carpet so strongly?
When you put too much stress on your body (mental, physical, emotional) and your cortisol levels skyrocket, your body can hold onto extra weight. It sounds like you had a very stressful week. I bet that's a large part of it.
I also only let myself weight once a week. That way I don't worry about the natural fluctuations that happen during the week.
I have found all the equipment I've needed (dumbbells, medicine ball, step) at Walmart.
I use liquid Stevia from Trader Joe's a lot. It's calorie-free, but natural, and I like the way it tastes.
I would love to see a Pilates workout, too!
I love Anja. I think she's the most positive and motivating. She's great at keeping me going.
CardioSculpt has a good mix of lower and upper body exercises. I just started my second month of it, and am enjoying the workouts (not to mention starting to see results).
It seems like waiting so long to eat could really mess with your blood sugar, especially if you tend to work out earlier in the day.
I've also had lots of success with myfitnesspal.
