I've dealt with severe stress and anxiety for many years. I find that meditation and yoga help a lot. When at work, listening to a favorite song, or writing out my concerns helps. I'll even use my lunch break just to go for a little walk to clear my head.
I also find that when I skip meals my stress level usually elevates (I have no idea why) So I keep a bag of almonds nearby just to nibble. I know oranges aren't in the ok category for fruits, but the vitamin C in oranges helps to lower blood pressure and cortisol to normal levels after a stressful situation.
Hope these help!
I've been very strict with my Inferno diet, portion control etc. I started at 295 and very quickly began to lose almost one pound a day. In 3 weeks I lost 19 pounds. I did not exercise, just very precisely controlled what I ate and how much I ate. For almost a week now my weight has not budged and as fluctuated up and down a pound. I assume that is merely water weight but why am I no longer losing ANY weight? Two days ago I began exercising (walking 4 miles a day). I was really looking forward to this being a lifelong change but now I'm feeling rather defeated. What am I doing wrong?
Part of my brain is saying, absolutely not. The other part is saying, it might work. I'm not sure which is acceptable during the Ignite phase?
I know some fish and shellfish are allowed, and brown rice is ok. Would sashimi and a bowl of brown rice be acceptable? Are there any hidden 'evil 6' ingredients I should watch out for at the sushi restaurant?
