I'm starting Ignite for several reasons. I used to be very active when I was in my 20s. I don't think I really learned how to eat properly. My metabolism would just burn off whatever I put into my body. Now that I'm in my mid-thirties it's not so easy. I've steadily gained few pounds here and a few pounds there.
I want to learn how to be more active and eat better.
I'm also running a 5K with some friends in September. I want to be able to keep up with them when we go out. Finally I'm going on a cruise at the end of September and I'm bound and determined to have some rocking abs for my super cute bikinis.
I have a single serving blender/shake maker that goes up to 400 ml or about 13 oz. If I just do the two scoops and then water and ice that seems to be a good consistency and amount for me. I think it depends on what you add to the shake.
I've decided to do something similar. I'm not much of a cook and have a hard time sticking to a diet. I think it will help me to stay on task if I have my meals planned out for the next week or so.
I'm getting ready to shop for Ignite and I noticed that many of the recipes call for shrimp. I love shrimp, but I'm not one of those people that knows how to devein a shrimp. Is it okay to use the frozen shrimp instead of fresh shrimp? I know that is usually deveined.
Thanks a bunch for the suggestions. That will help lead me in the right direction.
Once a week my boss buys lunch for the office. It's usually stuff like Baja Fresh or Papa John's or Chinese food. I am the person that is usually the person that chooses the restaurant. Do you have any suggestions for restaurant types that I can order from while on Ignite? Or am I just SOL for the next 3 weeks?
I did two workouts today. It was a little over 90 minutes. Other than my back being a little sore I'm feeling pretty good. Maybe tomorrow I'll get up early and do a yoga workout before work.
