Glucose is listed as an added sugar on the DB "Sneaky Ingredients" list, and is therefore supposed to be "forbidden" when Igniting.

However Xanthan Gum is listed as an ingredient on both the DB Fuel and their recommended substitute (DB Fuel is sold out) VegaOne.

So, why are we told no added sugars and yet a listed, forbidden, added sugar is used by DB created and endorsed products...???

allieoop asked the Question: How do you feel on Ignite?

On day one I started with a shake and was just wired with energy and greens powder. Day two started the same way but brought the "low-carb/detox" flu and some major salt cravings (satisfied with coconut water and maybe a few chips). Day three was Easter, and a conscious decision to enjoy Easter dinner and re-Ignite Monday. It wasn't an all-out binge from craving or anything.

Thanks for responding! I feel BETTER, overall, but not quite like I'd hoped. It's still early in the phase though. I re-Ignited after Easter so it's only been three days. Low-carb/no-sugar "flu" hasn't been as bad as the first two days that I made it though. I'm wondering when and if it's going to come back with a vengeance! LOL

I have noticed that in general my mood is more stable, except during those times of the day when I'm used to eating loads of carbs, like early/mid-afternoon. I'm cranky then, lol.

Tried some green tea and been using the bento-box type lunch and trying to pay attention to what makes me feel the best. So far I've found watery/hydrating type veggies and nuts do the trick.

allieoop commented on mlscott64's answer to Is Apple Cider Vinegar ok on Ignite?:

I've noticed that as well with items like dark chocolate (milk and soy lecithin free) and PB as well as some fruits and veggies. The "Ignite friendly" recipes contain unlisted grocery items. I think the most important part is avoiding the Evil 6 and cleansing your body.

Is there a reason they are not allowed? I thought grapes were good for you.

Thanks for posting the grocery list. I got the impression from the videos that you could eat anything as long as they don't contain the Evil 6.

allieoop answered the Question: Is non-fat Greek yogurt a no-no to eat?

If you're doing Ignite yes. Greek yogurt is dairy.
