Thank you for your insight! My protein shake is only 110 calories (is gross but lowest in cals). I track everything that goes into my mouth since im on weightwatchers but not sure about calorie intake since it uses a point system but I think I normally use about 1,200 calories a day. Maybe I should get a heart rate monitor to make sure I am actually pushing myself and not just being a wimp. I figured if my legs were like jello at the end then I did a good job but maybe not... great article. thanks again.
I have been on weightwatchers for 7 months and have lost 30lbs. I am still about 30lb away from my goal and thought I would rev it up with workouts. I am on day 20 of the cardiosculpt program and have gained 2lbs and inches all over my body. I am a pretty disciplined eater, I have been doing protein shakes after workouts, I am pushing myself very hard in the routines. Is this something I need to be patient with and it will fall off? Or am I doing something wrong? I am not sure if you can build muscle mass in that short of time or perhaps I need to drink more water? I drink 8c a day but maybe I should go to 10? HELP
