Fantastic! BCAA's are the powerhouse/building blocks for mucle recovery and growth. Also, aim for a gallon of water, so double what you got goin on at the moment in water consumption. :) You got this!
BCAA's (branched chain amino acids) are a great way to reduce soreness. You can purchase them in capsule form at places like GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, or Complete Nutrition, and online. Strecthing on and off during the day also helps squeeze (in a sense) the Lactic Acid build up out of the muscles which is a component in muscle soreness. Also, drink as much WATER (not sports drinks as they have added sugar and gunk) as you can, to help your body filter out the LA from your system. Squeezing lemon into your water helps if you can't do plain. The soreness is PROOF you are making changes. You want the soreness, it's sign your muscles took a beating, and therefore you must aid them in the recovery process by doing said things. Remember to eat well in addition!! Good job!
I've been exercising consistently since I was 13. Been in and out of gyms, tried multiple Worlout DVD's, have a few free weights at home as well as a treadmill. Mostly do my routines at home, but boy can it get monotonous! Trying to spice up my healthy living with new tools and ideas. Here's to us!!
