I just got 'the talk' from my doctor that she's concerned about my weight and my blood pressure. I have an extremely busy life with 4 kids from 17 to 7, and a full time job, so this should be the change that I need. On top of all that, I'm getting ready to start a new decade in my life in June (I'm turning 40!!!). I'm hoping DB and Ignite will help me with my goal to change my destiny from 'Fat and 40' to 'Fit and 40'.
I found the peanut butter cookie Larabar over the weekend. It has 3 ingredients, dates, peanuts and sea salt and somehow tastes just like a peanut butter cookie! Best part of it is...TOTALLY Ignite safe!!
On day 3 of Ignite. Yesterday was extremely stressful and by the end of the day, I just wanted to sleep. I did have a small piece of pork tenderloin for dinner, but that's it.
Today, however, I don't know what switch flipped, but I was a bit more energetic. I even did a whole lap around the mall without stopping!!! I haven't been able to do that since I started 'practicing' Ignite.
Something else that I've noticed is that the past several days, I have had body aches and pains and cramps all over...arms, legs, abs, back, even my HANDS...without working out or anything. Although I had some back cramps really bad this morning, by this afternoon, all aches are gone. I hope this afternoon goes better than yesterday, because I'm starting to get my groove back...gluten/dairy/soy/sugar/sweetner/alcohol - FREE!!!
I have successfully completed day one of Ignite!!! Only 20 more days to go. My fuel arrived in the mail today so we will see if that will change the cravings that I had a couple hours after lunch.
