I'm just starting out again but I feel like I'm between True Beginner and everything else. True Beginner feels slow for me (my heart rate hardy rises and I barely sweat) but all the other programs make my knees and wrists hurt. Could my form be that bad, or should I just take it slow and not get as much from a workout for a couple of weeks until my joints strengthen, is there something else I could do? I've always had weaker joints but I never thought they would be what hurt in a standard pushup.
Have you tried tea? Green tea really helps me, I use less sugar than coffee and it helps curb my appetite so I'm not munching when I'm bored on the job.
You are doing nothing wrong! Just be patient. For some people it shows a little more slowly. Just make sure you are eating the right foods, not just counting the calories and eating less, and drinking A LOT of water.
