    I am studying for my physical therapy boards and I like to do a little work out in the am to get my day started even if its just abs or a 15 minute walk. My suggestion is do a trial of both. Do one week studying before and one week studying after and see which one keeps you more focused.

    I know I need to be doing more core exercises. I go to the local gym 3-4 times per week for 2 hours (1 hour cardio 1 hour weight machines, but usually just focus on back and arms). I have seen a small difference in the past month but my jeans and pants dont fit me any different.

    I have been eating very healthy for the past month now. Protein shake in the am, low fat greek yogurt, fruit smoothies, fiber bars, for dinner chicken or turkey meat with veggies and salad (low fat salad dressing). I drink almost a gallon of water a day and only drink alcohol in moderation on the weekends. I do not drink any soda and have not had my glass of wine with dinner every night for over a month now.

    I am a 27 year old female and I currently weigh 173.5 and I am 5'2/5'3. My weight lose goal is to be 130 lbs. My sisters wedding is in March and would like to lose this weight by then. Any suggestions on what type of programs I should be zoning in on for weight loss?

    My other favorite break fast idea (even though your not liking the shakes) is making your own fruit smoothie. It always fills me up and I always use fresh fruit. Blue berries are a huge fat burner and they are also antioxidants. You can put in low fat yogurt some ice and I usually put in V8 diet fruit juice (has almost no calories in it and its fruit juice). You can also add some whey protein powder or what ever brand of protein powder you prefer. Def. keeps me full for a few hours.

    My favorite break fast idea if no one has posted this yet is egg white omlet! You can put fat free feta cheese or any fat free cheese it in you like (moderation ofcourse), any veggies you like (spinach, broccoli, peppers, onions) you can even use a little bit of turkey meat if you are craving it. It gives you the protein you need with a splash of veggies. I usually buy the egg whites in the container at the grocery store (yes when you pour it in the pan it does not look appealing, but trust me its delicious!) I even put a little bit of hot sauce on mine to give it some spice :) let me know if this helps!

    I felt that way too at first but then I realized the "Discover" button under workouts and you can preview and try different workouts in addition to your scheduled program. If you do not like the program you originally selected you can change it :) My best advice to you is use the "Discover" try a few different programs out and see what works best for you. You have already made the hardest choice and that is to work out and be healthy. Now you just have to find what you are comfortable with and what you like doing. Let me know what you find!

    Yes I just discovered this today! It's awesome because it lets you explore different options and you can do it in addition to your scheduled program you selected.
