I exclusively use the videos M-F and then on the weekend I usually do some type of sport activity (soccer, hiking, bike, run, etc...).
Have you tried db tracker? http://tracker.dailyburn.com
Answer this question (please read answers below before posting)...
Just doesn't feel right to be suddenly awakened from my corpse pose. :)
For me, I gave up on my lifetime passion as a soccer player and then as a coach because I was too out of shape to do either. I felt I was doing the kids an injustice when coaching, because I wasn't able to lead by example. Then while still trying to play, I tore the meniscus in my knee for a second time in 2009 and had to have surgery. For the past 3 years I used this as an excuse and it just went down hill from there as I got lazier and lazier and eventually gained 70lbs.
In the fall of 2011, my brother-in-law got married and I was always one to shy away from photos, but in this case it was pretty much unavoidable. Once the pictures were developed and forwarded along to friends and family - (and I was so dreading this...) I was totally embarrassed of myself. I could not believe who I had become and vowed to make a change.
I knew I needed to make a "lifestyle change" in my diet and exercise. I knew that if I focused, I would eventually get back in shape as I had done it before. But I also knew I needed something that would fit my lifestyle and that I would stick to. Going to gym and riding the treadmill for hours upon hours just seemed like torcher (been there done that) and so I searched for an exercise and nutrition regime that was right for me. Nutrition was first and I went with Paleo as it was the most natural and logical to me. Then I came across DailyBurn, gave it a shot and have been hooked ever since. Most of all it's fun and yet very challenging and never gets old. I look forward to each workout every single day! There is so much variety in the type of workouts and personalities of trainers. Some days I just need that little extra motivation and some days I just want to get down to it and challenge myself - DailyBurn provides this and I can choose a workout/trainer that best fits my daily need.
This site has been a total life changing experience. I've been using DailyBurn for about 7mo. now and I'm proud to say that I have dropped 62lbs thus far and 14" from my waist. I've gone from 34% body fat to 14% and I'm now about 10lbs now away from my goal weight. But I won't stop there.
If you haven't already, you may want to visit the DailyBurn YouTube feed where they have posted several success/transformation stories: http://www.youtube.com/user/d...
Good luck and enjoy your journey!
DB is my primary method M-F and sometimes on the weekend, but love getting outdoors to play soccer, run sprints, exercise at the kids playground (when they are not there of course :) and walking/biking/hiking or just climbing stuff.
By my last count, there are 31 videos. Maaike is correct in that a new workout will appear every day and that you can select a different workout by selecting the Discover button if you are using the website. (Note: the type of workout that displays daily are based upon the answers you provide on your profile questionnaire at http://dailyburn.com/profile which can be changed at any time) If you are using an app, I don't believe the discover option is available. As a temporary work around though, you can access the website and change your workout and then re-access your app and the video should change. (I think that's how it works - as I don't use the app) They are working to change this very soon. For more information on this topic click "app" on the Community page under Question Categories.

I absolutely love the variety of workout videos and diversity of trainers. Every workout is a unique challenge and each trainer gives me that extra motivation to get through the workout and push me just that little bit extra. Even though I felt somewhat uncomfortable during the first week or so (not able to complete all the movements, do all the reps, etc…) - I stuck with it and it's paying off. It's a great feeling to challenge myself by repeating a workout for the 2nd, 3rd time or so and complete a movement with good form and to know I’m getting stronger. It’s also cool to see some of the trainers fight with a movement and push themselves - I connect with that.
I started my commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle on Jan 1st of this year. Just yesterday I received the Platinum badge for watching my 50th video and achieved the Athlete ranking. Thus far, I have lost 29.4lbs in 10 weeks while using Dailyburn 5-6days per/wk.
Losing 2lbs a week is great! Congrats! Slow and steady wins the race to healthy weight loss. Dropping a lot of weight quickly, you’re actually losing mostly water and muscle, rather than fat. I've been averaging a loss of 3.2lbs per wk. through 9 weeks and sometimes I lose 1lb in a week and other times 4lbs. During my first week I lost 6lbs, but have never lost more that 4 in a week since then. Being 9 weeks wiser, I now know that scales generally don’t tell the whole story and so I've actually stopped weighing myself weekly (doing it monthly now) and started to track weekly measurements of my body composition (waist, hips, etc...) and take profile pictures. The progress in the pictures is especially motivating. Surely I don't know your exact goals, but I'd just recommend keep doing what you're doing and don't let the scale define your progress. Good luck!
Not sure if this would help, but you may want to pick up one of those non-slip rug mats to put under those towels. Believe they are only a couple bucks at the drug store.
It looks like there may be some bug on the site at the moment. I just checked it out and I'm also not seeing a "Start Workout" overlay. Not usual, so hope it gets fixed soon.
I just created my own exercise.
Sit-thrus derived from the CST/Tacfit system. Here's a link to the 1st of 4 tutorials of the sit-thru from Shane Heins. Hope this helps - http://youtu.be/8Zoal06PhU8?t...
