I fined running burns fat faster then anything else...but i only have the patience for it 2-3 times a week and it doesn't do much for building muscle. I've tried doing intelli burn to supplement the off day's and next i think i'll try yoga.
How do other's handle this?? Any one else like the idea of DB program designed to be paired with a running routine?
I keep a google doc, private of course, but i agree this and a body fat % calc with some average stat's and healthy ranges would be a great addition. As long as there on the web site and not locked up in some app that my phone is to dumb for.
It could just be your body getting used to your workouts if haven't changed it up in a while, or let up on the intensity. If your like most of us, your ideal body fat% is not the natural balance point your body will gravitate to, so every time your body gets used to something it becomes less effective and you might drift off your ideal. That's why everyone with a physically intensive job is not in there ideal body. Its a life long battle, if a work out is getting easy go find something you can barely do and do it.
On a side note if the problem gets worse no matter how hard you work at it or change it up (I'm talking months not weeks), See a doc. I don't think this apply's to you but underlying health issues can make you gain weigh no matter how hard you work at it. A co-worker spent 6 months fighting weight gain to find out she had a health issue, fixed it, then lost 25 pounds in a month.
This is a really irritating problem, especially for TBT since a 4 day rotation dosen't fit well with a 7 day week. For me it depends what i missed and how many. But most of the time I pick up with what ever video is up for the day. For TBT i would switch a work out with a recover if needed,
I have to image a solution to this is in the works. I know for best results you have to stick to the program, but if i'm on vacation with the family i'm probably going to miss a few workouts. The options to "pick up where i left off" or "stick to the scheduled" would be a great addition to the site...
I've done 1.5 rounds of TBT, intelliBurn (with some running outside), and now i'm half way through inferno. I like the intensity of inferno and I'm starting to see some good results. However, i'm missing cody's awesome warm up/cool down in TBT. TBT left my body feeling great with Zero shoulder issues! (pre or post workout) Inferno is getting me more results and pushing limits but i'm stating to have shoulder pain again during the days :( I'm fight it by adding some of cody's mobility/yoga on my own but it would be nice to have it structured into the program, either with the next round of inferno or with some new hybrid program.
