    I was feeling great yesterday because I thought I was going to hit 11 pounds lost since I started ignite but when I stepped on the scale I had gained two pounds :( I'm following ignite and not cheating. Has anyone else had this happen?

    I just joined Daily Burn last week and haven't started ignite yet because I ordered a shake mix on amazon that I thought was free of the Evil 6 but ended up having sugar in it. I tried it anyways just to see what the flavor was like, and it tasted like someone pulled a bunch of grass out of their lawn mower and threw it in a blender. It still tasted like this when I added fruit, cocoa powder, etc. Before I drop $80, can anyone tell me if the Daily Burn Fuel has this same grassy flavor? I can't seem to choke it down. Thank you!

    Here is my favorite very easy roasted veggie recipe:

    Use equal amounts of broccoli and cauliflower & chop into bite size florets. Mix in an 8X8 baking pan and toss in about 8-12 cloves of garlic, whole (however much garlic you like is fine). Drizzle olive oil over the mixture and salt and pepper to taste. Put in the oven for 50 minutes at 375 degrees F. About 10 minutes before time is up, take the pan out of the oven and splash white wine over the top and put it back in the oven for the last 10 minutes.

    GUARANTEED delicious!

    That's awesome! My goal is to look FANTASTIC in my wedding gown on September 21, and to hike Mt. Marcy soon after (the tallest mountain in NY). I had two lung surgeries a couple years ago and never got back to the fitness level I was at before them. I used to be an avid hiker and climber and I want to be that person again!

    I wouldn't reccommend it until Balance but Enjoy Life makes DELICIOUS chocolate chips/chunks with no dairy, no soy, no gluten and no artificial sweeteners with only 7g of sugar in a serving. Tastes exactly like regular chocolate chips!

    Thank you so much! I hope you are right. I was afraid my workouts were getting too easy & my body wasn't responding anymore or I was maybe eating the wrong foods and not realizing it.

    Not sure how kid-friendly it is but an easy ignite-friendly recipe I like to use when company comes over is a modified chicken marsala. I use olive oil in place of butter to sautee mushrooms and almond flour instead of wheat flour to coat the chicken. It's a very easy 30-minute meal.

    2 chicken breasts (I usually slice them in half longways and pound them out to make them thin and tender)
    16 oz mushrooms, any kind you like (baby bellas are great)
    3 tbs olive oil
    1/4 cup almond flour
    2 tsp oregano
    3/4 cup marsala wine
    1/2 cup cooking sherry
    salt and pepper to taste

    1. Heat olive oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Combine the almond flour, oregano, and salt and pepper in a shallow bowl (or a large ziploc bag if you are a fan of faster cleanup like I am!) and coat your chicken cutlets in the mixture.
    2. Brown the chicken in the skillet on both sides. This should take no more than 8-10 minutes. You don't have to worry about them cooking all the way through just yet since the chicken will simmer in the sauce.
    3. Add the mushrooms, and let them cook down for about 2-3 minutes.
    4. Add marsala wine and cooking sherry and the rest of the olive oil and cover your skillet. Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes.

    I like to serve this with a broccoli and cauliflower mix (add in whole garlic cloves, olive oil & salt and pepper and bake it for about 50 minutes at 375 in a metal baking dish, i usually use an 8X8 brownie dish. Add a splash of white wine over the top in the last 10 minutes. The tips of the broccoli will be starting to brown when it is done) and brown rice.

    coconut aminos are a great soy substitute if you do sushi takeout! And since soy sauce actually contains wheat AND soy, you could always ask the restaurant if they have tamari, which is a type of soy sauce that has no wheat in it.

    I'm at day 15 and so far have lost 10.5 pounds. 3 pounds in 5 days is great!
