I've never eaten an an egg white omelette because it looked so unnatural to me (grew up on a farm) so just this week I decided to try 3 whites/1 yolk. Tasty.

I think you're right about the plateau, which is why I'm hoping to lose 20 lbs. reasonably quick and then pace myself and enjoy the journey for the next 20. Thanks for the measurement tip.
Thanks for your very rational $0.02. I got pretty serious about no soy, gluten, dairy or sugar this week. I didn't make it to the gym as much as I'd like but I had 3 home repair projects going on outside (in Florida) with a lot of lifting, etc. I stayed well hydrated and I lost 6 lbs this week.
I'm 5'3", 56 years old, 161 lbs.
