This has been a major problem for me too! I would LOVE to be able to edit the date of my pictures!
I do this most days too. I make a giant green smoothie in the morning, sip on it all day, and then eat dinner. I used to juice instead of blend, but I found that I tend to get shaky with the juicer, and not really when I blend.
I've been battling an awful head cold and haven't worked out much at all this week. I can't wait to see what happens when I start feeling better and can workout too!
I started Ignite Jan 1 and have lost 3.6 pounds already ! I hope I can keep it up :) Has anyone else had any weight loss success with it?
I also just noticed that my dinner from last night is showing up on today...
I don't know for sure on this, but my Bob's Red Mill nutritional yeast says it contains zero grams of sugar, so I don't think it would be a problem. I also know it's safe for people with Celiac's to eat so I don't think it contains gluten.
I'm a vegetarian too and have found several good recipes at fatfreevegan.com. I know ignite allows oils, so the fat free isn't necessary, but they have a huge list of recipes that are dairy and gluten free. Just look for some that are soy free, and maybe add a splash of oil if you feel the need :)
My son has a nut allergy, so we use oat milk most of the time. It's sweeter (naturally) and thicker than rice milk.
I forgot to track my snack yesterday, but I have a picture of it. Is there any way for me to add it? I can't figure out how to change the date. Thanks!
Rainbow Light also makes a rice based protein powder that I think is free of the Evil 6. I'm pretty sure you could get that in the UK.
I definitely plan to try Fuel once it starts shipping and I run out of Vega. I'm not at all trying to steer people away from Fuel, just want to help those who can't get it. Vega also makes a product - Vega Energizing Smoothie - that comes in several flavors, and my children even like it blended up with fruits and a milk alternative. They think it's dessert :) It doesn't have quite as much protein, but tastes better than VegaSport.
Hi Andy, I like squeeze the juice of half an orange onto my salads instead of dressing... does fresh squeezed orange juice still fall into the category of a sweetener?
I think Vega Sport would be a good alternative. It's gluten, dairy, soy, sugar & substitute free. It's sweetened with stevia and made from pea and rice protein like Fuel. I really like the flavors too. Their website vegasport.com only lists that they ship to US and Canada, but I think they have other distributors in the UK. Good luck!
I was able to win my family over on everything except snack foods, like chips, crackers and candy. We designated one special little cupboard for junk food only. That way, I don't have to look at it every time I'm getting my own food. I still know it's there, so it's not as great as getting it out of the house completely, but it helps!
Vega Sport makes an "Electrolyte Hydrator" that I really like. All of their products are gluten, dairy, sugar and soy free, so I think they'd be compatible with Ignite. I love their protein powder too!
