I'm looking for something low-calorie, low-fat, and preferably all-natural. Thanks!
Sign up for a road race sometime in the not too distant future and find a training plan that you think you can stick to. Having a race on the calendar is a huge motivator for me. If I don't train, I won't perform well on race day. If I do stick to the plan, I meet my goals and have a lot of fun crossing the finish line. When I'm done with one race, the first thing I want to do is sign up for the next one. It's an awesomely vicious cycle that I just can't break!
I like to mix Grape Nuts or almonds (or both!) into plain non-fat Greek yogurt. I add frozen unsweetened berries for the vitamins and the flavor, plus some grated ginger. Mix it all together and let it sit for a while - lots of texture, flavor, and protein.
Cody's workouts!!! I love Tabata Transformation. I really like KB in 9, but I wish it were longer. The Complete Kettlebell moves a little too slow if you already know all of the moves. I like Eitan's Intense Abs too.
I'm marathon training, but I use dailyburn videos to get my strength training in. The core and leg sessions definitely help with my running form and speed.
