Thank you all for your input and suggestions. We have decided to stick it out and i'm already feeling a bit better. We have made small adjustments like upping the amount of protein in the morning shakes (we had been doing one scoop each, oops) and drinking more water. Seeing some results has also certainly helped with the motivation.
My husband and I are on day 5 of Ignite. We are using a rice protein shake, and trying to eat protein + veggies + starchy carbs at meals (following the template) but nonetheless we feel hungry an hour or so after meals.
1. Is this normal the first week, simmilar to low energy, and will go away?
2. What can we eat to feel more full? And should my husband be having larger portions than me?
I have always heard that its good to take deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Try to breath deeply into your diaphram so that you feel the air in your belly area. It doesnt feel natural to breathe like that, and you kind of have to keep reminding yourself to breathe, but it should get you enough oxygen so that you dont feel lightheaded. :)
thanks for the heads up ben, thats good to know. Im still waiting for mine to come in.
Thank you Kate, i went with the Now foods Pea one, i wish there was a blend here, but I haven't found one yet, and I really can't wait to get started!
I'm living in the middle east, and options here are limited when it comes to vegan protein powders. Has anyone used, or can anyone recommend one of these three: Vegan Rice Protein Powder by NutriBiotic, Pea Protein Powder by Now Foods, or Pea Protein by Olympian Labs? Any idea which one would be best for Ignite?
