I don't know if it would be better, but I am going through TBT for the third time, and I have had no problems. Just be sure to do the recovery workouts that are offered. They are a great way to prevent injuries.
TBT is six workouts that you will do two days each with two days of mobility, yoga or release in between each two-day cycle. After you complete the six, the first repeats. If you look at your workouts screen, in the upper right-hand corner, you can see your place in the schedule, "day __ of 28" and under that you can see "View My Calender" which is where you can click and see the whole schedule.
A gallon of water weighs 8 lbs. There's your weighted ball.
I find I feel best if I work out in the morning. As far as before or after breakfast, I read a journal article recently that showed that working out on an empty stomach will burn more fat during the workout, but eating first will cause you to burn more fat all day.
If you move your cursor to the bottom of the screen, you will see a progress bar appear with the "<< II >>" on the left. You can click on the ">>" and skip each move until you reach the point where you want to pick it up. This is also helpful when you want to see what a workout looks like before you do it.
My favorite snack, which I eat sometimes as a recovery meal, is 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with chocolate milk. Now let me explain.
4 slices Sara Lee bread
1 1/2 servings PB2
2 tbsp Sugar free Polaner all fruit
16 oz Hood Calorie Countdown
2 tbsp sugar-free chocolate syrup
338 calories, 62g carbs 4g fat 32g protein 100% yummy
I have been working with a personal trainer for the last year and a half. What he has advised me to do is working for me. He has given me a daily calorie goal, and suggested a good mix of macro-nutrients within that goal, eaten in 5-6 small meals a day. Following his advise, as well as his workouts and those of DB and other videos I use, I have lost 78lbs in that year and a half, and a total of 106 lbs in the last two and a half years. I looked at the Ignite program and did not see any compelling reason to switch.
I did three yesterday. I did a 15 minute MMA, then later I did the Animal Core, and a short time later the Recovery Yoga. The problem is, it seems to mess up the rotation of videos that automatically are offered.
I find myself partial to Sara Lee Delightful Multigrain. 45 calories per slice. Understand that I am not following the ignite program. I hope it works for those who do, but what I am doing is working for me, and I don't find the reasons given for the 21 day thing compelling. So if you are following the ignite program, my favorite is out as it contains gluten.
I use a MacBook Pro with airplay mirroring to my TV through an Apple TV at home.
I hit 89 squats today. Uh!!!!! :(
Part of the issue is different videos show different forms of the move. On the basic form, I did 30 burpees in 1 minute.
watch any of the videos that have the burpee challenge and you can see them.
What about raisins?
