Loved the Tabata workout I just did and I was able to do all the exercises except one: even the easy modification of the sit-throughs put too much stress through my wrists and I didn't feel stable or comfortable. I think I can work-up to them, but in the mean-time can anyone suggest a modification that puts less stress on the wrists?
Agreed. I went without soda for about a week a long time ago, and since then I've just been totally disinterested in super-sweet beverages. For me it was pretty easy to loose the taste for them - when you try them again after not having them for a week they almost hurt your teeth they are so sweet. Seltzer water plain or with juice is great (cranberry, lemon, orange, grapefruit... whatever you like), unsweetened iced tea of any variety is also delicious!
also its ridiculously easy to make your own - fill a large pitcher with filtered water, add 4-5 teabags and sit it in your fridge overnight... voila! delicious iced tea! Its fun to play with different flavors in the tea aisle :)
