Workout Program Description

Was looking around for something like this and couldn't find anything so I made it up from suggested weight training regimens for swimmers, cyclists, and runners.

Pick one of either incline dumbell press or pushups and one of either back extensions or supermans. I guess you could do both but you might be really sore.

Mix in with some cardio - I'm doing lots of running and elliptical training this offseason.

 Hope you enjoy.

Just did my first 1/2 IM 70.3

I just did the Wildflower 70.3. Here is what I wish I did more of: --Longer distance trail running w/hills. 8 miles as a regular run didn't cut it. Should get in at least 1 long run 10m+ per week. Include more ladder drills to build speed. --I'm an endurance bike racer, but the rolling hills of this course killed me. Practice over/under HR drills that resemble hill output, and ride a lot of rolling hills! --Created a better pre-race and race fuel plan that matched increasing rates of output vs. steady state output.

It has Begun

I have officially started training for my first half Ironman 70.3. Master Swim & running ... that was a great start. I'll be doing this Triathlon offseason strength workout also. Any other suggestions from anyone?
