After graduating from Hamilton College with a degree in Philosophy, Alex moved to NYC in June 2013 to pursue her love of journalism and multimedia. She wrote and edited for Life by Daily Burn for nearly three years before joining Mic.com as a food writer. Her work has also appeared on The Huffington Post, The Daily Beast and Health.com. Alex has always been passionate about athletics, health and fitness and competed at the collegiate level in synchronized team skating, rowing and Ultimate Frisbee.
