But they&#8217;re packed with disease-fighting nutrients, and some are even great sources of vitamin D. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/16959053?dopt=Citation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Studies<\/a> have shown that this fat-soluble vitamin may play a role in keeping the immune system strong and there are very few good dietary sources of it.
