Victoria\u2019s Secret model Adriana Lima is fortunate to have both in the bag. The Brazillian bombshell is no stranger to the gym \u2014 and her workout of choice involves little more than a jump rope, two gloves and some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazonpower.co\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coconut water<\/a>.\u00a0Oh, and a former middleweight boxing champ.<\/p>\n<p>Trainer to some of the most photographed bods in the biz, Michael Olajide, Jr., has kept Lima at the top of her game\u00a0for 10-plus years, using his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aerospacenyc.com\/shop.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AEROBOX<\/a> method to deliver cardio, strength, endurance and more. And while one workout does <i>not<\/i> an \u201cangel\u201d make, DailyBurn jumped in with the 32-year-old supermodel (and mother of two) for a 45-minute burn session (part of a benefit for the <a href=\"https:\/\/stlukehaiti.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">St. Lukes Foundation for Haiti<\/a>). Read on to learn how Lima stays in runway-strutting shape, and what cheat meal she\u2019s reaching for after the show&#8217;s over.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Have you always loved exercise?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Honestly, it was hard because I never found something I really loved \u2014 not until I started boxing. I knew I wanted to be healthy and find a workout that would fit my personality. I tried many different things: spinning, aerobics, step, yoga. And then I tried boxing and I loved it; it became my passion. I love that it\u2019s an intense workout, and it\u2019s the best form of cardio. You get toned but not bulky. And it\u2019s not boring. Every day you learn something new, whether that\u2019s different combinations of punches, or more moves with the rope. You\u2019re always building up to a new level, and that helps with your confidence as well.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>When you\u2019re short on time, what\u2019s your go-to workout? \u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Some days you have an hour, and some days you only have 15 minutes. So the most important thing is to keep moving. And that\u2019s one of the greatest things about jumping rope. You don\u2019t always need a whole hour to work out. You jump for 15 minutes \u2014 and that can sometimes be [just as effective as] 45 minutes of running. Plus, it\u2019s easy to travel with, and you can do it anywhere.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>What\u2019s the one exercise you love to hate right now?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Ab Wheel. I hate it!<\/p>\n<p><b><i>And your favorite move?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>I love to spar.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>How do you fuel your workouts? What\u2019s for breakfast each morning?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>It depends. I go for oatmeal, eggs, fruit, smoothies. It helps to have a variety of healthy options around.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>When you have a big show or photo shoot coming up, how do you prep? \u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>I try to work out every day if I can. But the most important thing is what you eat. You can\u2019t skip meals because these workouts are so intense. You need something substantial to give you the energy to get you through those boxing and cardio sessions. I\u2019m very natural in the way that I look. And working out is something that I do out of love. Even if my modeling career comes to an end, I\u2019m still going to keep doing this.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>What are some of the misconceptions people tend to have about models and fitness?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>I think now times are changing. Before, models weren\u2019t necessarily working out as much. But right now, there seems to be more of a focus on being healthier. We want to be a little more toned. We want lean muscle. We want to look \u2014 and <i>feel<\/i> \u2014 good. People can sometimes think that models don\u2019t eat or don\u2019t work out, but that\u2019s not the truth. We do work out, and we do eat.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>So\u2026 your favorite cheat meal?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cupcakes! I love cupcakes \u2014 it\u2019s crazy! My favorite place in the whole world is run by a friend of mine in Miami, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Thatbakinggirl-326295150736170\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Baking Girl<\/a>. She makes the best cupcakes.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>You have two daughters. How do you instill in them a healthy body image?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>I try to be an example for my daughters with everything, including health. I eat balanced, healthy meals. I cook and I work out. Sometimes I bring them with me [to the gym] \u2014 so they can be there. I sit and have meals with my children when I\u2019m home. I cook for them, and they help me cook. It\u2019s important.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>So will they grow up to be models or boxers \u2014 or both?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re still so young; they don\u2019t know what they want to be yet! But whatever it is, I\u2019m here to support them.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>And if you weren\u2019t a model, what career path would you have chosen instead?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>I think I would be a doctor \u2014 a pediatrician.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>World \u2026 Cup \u2026 Are you excited?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Yes, I am! I plan to go <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/fitness\/no-equipment-back-exercises\/\"   title=\"back\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"393\">back<\/a> to Brazil during it at some point. I\u2019m so excited it\u2019s happening over there. We\u2019re very passionate about soccer in our country. If you drive around, literally on every corner you see children playing soccer. It\u2019s just part of our culture; it\u2019s in our blood. I\u2019ve tried to play \u2014 but I suck, big time. I\u2019m afraid of the ball. Well, I\u2019m not <i>that<\/i> bad. I can pass the ball; I can do it a little.
