Nadia G., host of the Cooking Channel\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookingchanneltv.com\/shows\/nadia-gs-bitchin-kitchen.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Bitchin\u2019 Kitchen<\/em><\/a>, says allowing it to be spread out in the dish lets it breathe, in a sense, and stops the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/recipes\/stuffed-zucchini-couscous-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">couscous<\/a> from scrunching together. Result: a fluffier side dish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.&nbsp;Make vegetables more fun. <\/strong>If you\u2019ve got kids in the house, a baking dish is going to make veggies look more appetizing. \u201cMy grandmother made \u2018curled carrots\u2019 for us as kids and it was always way more fun,\u201d says Alexander. Make your own ground meat. <\/strong>Save money by buying the whole chicken breast and grinding it up yourself at home. Alexander suggests tossing it in the blender and giving it a few quick pulses (you can do the same with pork tenderloin or top round) to get a lean meat that&#8217;s ready for cooking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Stir up soups. <\/strong>Blenders aren\u2019t just for chilled drinks (like that <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/recipes\/dessert-inspired-protein-shake-recipes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">post-workout smoothie<\/a> or refreshing margarita). Farrell suggests using it to make soups.
